Our Little People

We always knew we wanted kids. So, 7 months after we got married and started to build our first house we decided it was time to add to our family! I have been an aunt since I was 8 years old so I was ready! Matt was more of a learn as you go daddy and it worked for him because you wouldn't have known that he had never changed a single diaper until we had a baby!

We got pregnant September of 2003 and had our first child, Logan Alexander on June 19th, 2004! The boy has a heart of gold and is super sweet! He LOVES school but doesn't always know the "right" time to talk to his friends. ;) Oh and don't let him know you have a Wii because you will lose him for hours He was the best baby and I remember Matt asking me one time "When is he going to get loud?" Logan makes friends easily and has a very big heart. Umm, I wonder where he got that from! He is a daddy's boy, and loves football and baseball.

In August 2005 we bought a house in Richmond and added another sweet little person to our family. Abigail Ryleigh was born on December 4th, 2006. Oh boy she was a handful. Complete opposite of Logan when he was a baby. She is still just as feisty and such a girly girl. She is 6 going on 16 and can carry on a conversation with you that makes you think twice about who you are talking to! I can't remember when she didn't talk! She is an emotional roller coaster. Happy, smiling one minute and the next, crying over the same thing she was just laughing about. A total girl! She loves jewelry and playing dress up. She's in dance right now and loves every minute of it! She is the kind of kid that is content playing alone most of the time but she sure does love playing with her big brother!

In December 2011 we found out that we are expecting our third little person. Lucas Parker was born on August 2nd, at 35 weeks 5 days. He has a great little personality. He is laid back like Logan was but loud like Abby was. He has truly completed our family! Check out his birth story here.
