Sunday Confessions ~ v10

First 2013 confessions...let get this underway!


Confession #1
I have to admit this out loud...I HATE DIETING!!!!! Ok, I am sure that is no shock because really who likes to diet. I am back on WW and it is slow going but I signed up so that is the first step! I want to lose 20 lbs by summer. I got this!

Confession #2
There is a part of my that wants football to be over because it stresses me out every week but of course I am so excited about today's Skins playoff game! HAIL!

Confession #3
I got my iPhone 5, YAY! I love it and I know they will probably put another one out in a few months so mine will be "old" but I don't care. I'm still glad I finally upgraded.

Confession #4
My blog design SUCKS! I did it all myself, it totally blows and I am fully aware of it. I have been looking at different ones online and I can't pick on...decisions, decisions!

Confession #5
I want a one big snow storm this winter...just one! Is that to much to ask mother nature?!

Confession #6
I am totally slacking on Lucas' 5 month update blog post. I will get it up this week, promise!

Our Week in photos!

Last week was not a very busy one for us which was totally fine by me! We need some down time every now and then.

Monday ~ Matt was suppose to take his day off but got a call from work they needed something so he had to go in for a little bit then of course other things held him up so when he finally got home and showered it was time for Logan's baseball game. It was an awesome game. They were down 11-3 in the last inning and rallied to win the game 12-11! GO PIRATES!

Tuesday ~ I had a great 32 week check up. Lucas was being a stinker and sticking his butt up at my midwife when she was trying to listen to his heartbeat...silly boy! I also filled out all the paperwork to register at the hospital. Yay!

Wednesday ~ the kids and I hung around the house and relaxed. I had my usual for lunch (tuna on toast with 3 Kebbler Rainbow Deluxe cookies and a bottle of water of course) and washed and folded more of Lucas' clothes!

Thursday ~ Again, it was a hang around the house, Jaxon looking guilty like always kinda day! Then we got ready (insert 32 week 5 day belly bump) and heading to dinner with some good friends. I am super excited because they are due in October and having a BOY also! Can you say play dates in the future?!

Friday ~ The kids and I ran some errands, then hit the pool with some friends. That night we went to Olive Garden for dinner and to Target (my favorite store but I am starting to feel like I live there)! I scored some Carter's sock for Lucas off the clearance rack for $8 and a cute Carter's 6m outfit for $3. The fabric for his 2nd crib crib sheet I am having made came on Friday too!

Our Week in Photos

Monday ~ It was the usually lazy day. Kids played and I worked on my blog.

Tuesday ~ I took the kids to see one of the $1 movies at Regal, then we hit Chick Fil A for lunch (no suprise there, right?!). Abby LOVED the small girl cow. She is not a fan of the big cow at all. Then just before diner I got a text from Matt that he was in fact going to be working outages all day (6am-9pm) again on the 4th of July so I treated myself and the kids to Outback to help the sadness. It worked a little.

Wednesday ~ Instead of sitting around the house all day the kids and I went to the pool for 2 hours then came home and shower before heading to a good friends house for dinner and so the kids could see some fireworks (I was not about to try and light any, pregnant or not that would have been a bad idea). Matt was able to make it to their house a few mintues after the fireworks started. I didn't tell the kids he was going to make it so when he showed up they we so excited (hints, Abby's BIG smile)!

Thursday ~ I made a trip to Ikea with my sister in law and got Lucas' dresser and a few other things for the nursery (look for a post this week with updated nursery pictures). Matt got off on time that day (YAY!!!) so we went to dinner then made a trip to Target for a few things. While looking around the baby section I scored 4 OS Fuzzibunz Elite diapers for $19 that someone had returned. I still smile when I think about my awesome deal!

Friday ~ The kids and I hung around the house again because it was 102 degree outside with a heat index of 112. Can you say CRAZY!!!! That night I had plans to go out with the girls for dinner at Olive Garden and to see Magic Mike. Matt ended up working a few hours late again so I dropped the kids off at my parents head to meet the girls. It was a great end to a crazy and stressful week!

iPhone love and some other ramblings!

Yes, I am giving some love to my iPhone right now. I love my iPhone and can't even imagine life without it now. I had a Droid smartphone before and it SUCKED was not a nice phone. Maybe I should just say I have fallen in love with Apple products in general. My windows (Dell) desktop has some kinda virus on it and has for about 6-7 months now and I have maybe thought about getting it fixed twice. My MacBook Pro is the best computer we have every purchased. I have tried to convince my hubby to get a iMac but he is not going for it...dang it. Maybe one day!

One of my favorite feature is the calendar on my iPhone. I am not sure what I would do without it. I love that it links to my iPhone and iPad, Matt's iPhone and my Macbook Pro (told you have a love for Apple, haha). With just one input we both knows what is going on any given day. I have tried the day planner route and I just end of leaving it at house and/or forgetting to put things in it, which in turn means I forget about thing I need to do.

As the end of the month is nearing my next months calendar starts filling up. June was a VERY busy month and July is starting to full up but so far looking a lot less crazy then June. I can't bring myself to look at August or put anything on it. I can't believe in 3 days I can tell people "next month" when they ask when I am due. I got a paper in the mail for Abby's kindergarten "Getting to know you" and it is on July 24th. My first thought was "Wow, that's exactly one month before Lucas is here". For those that don't know this, the kids will go back to school on Tuesday August 21st and I will be having Lucas August 24th...talk about prefect timing. I will get a few days to make sure things are ready for him to arrive while my sweeties are at school for 7 hours. I keep saying I don't know what I will do with them BOTH gone all day but I am sure there will be plenty to do, especially once Lucas is here. I mean, does a SAHM ever run out of things to do?!
