Pregnancy Update ~ 34 weeks!

I know I am a day late with this but it has been a busy weekend. Here you go...

5 weeks...32 days...779 hours until LUCAS PARKER arrives! Yes, I totally have it down to the hours. If he decides to come sooner, I will be fine with that too! Not sure if you can tell by this picture but he has dropped some. He is most active around 11pm so we will see if that carries through after he is born. The poor guy gets the hiccups so much. Sometimes 3-4 times a day. It has gotten to the point that they shake my whole belly when he has them. If hiccups really mean you are growing, this little boy is growing a lot lately. We are pretty much ready for him to come at anytime. Clothes are washed and his bag is packed for the hospital. I will probably get mine packed in the next week or two and get his car seat in the car. I am totally bummed because I wanted to sign Logan and Abby up for the sibling class at the hospital but I waited too long and all the August classes are full. I know its not a big deal but thought they would enjoy it. They are both getting so excited! They ask at least every other day "how many more weeks until Lucas is here". They will be the best big brother and big sister Lucas could ask for!

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, but one of them at the top of my belly has stretched a little more. I also have noticed a faint Linea Nigra line below my belly button.

Movement: Still VERY active and I am savoring every moment of it!

Size of Baby: He measures about 18.7 inches long (size of a butternut squash) and weighs in around 5.8 pounds.

Belly Button in or out? In but flat.

Cravings: Anything sweet! Hope that goes away after he is born because I have to lose this weight.

Sleep: Umm, what is that! haha I truly believe it's our body's way of preparing us for the sleepless nights to come. Rolling over is a very hard task and from what Matt says I groan a lot when I do roll over.

Sex of Baby: A sweet baby BOY...Lucas Parker!

Best Moment this week: Buying his new crib. We had one that we brought used but neither of us were really ever happy with it. So last Sunday I re-sold the used one and then found one we LOVE! Pictures of the nursery are coming I promise. Just waiting for one last project to be finished and hung.

Weight Gain: Again...We will not talk about this! ;)

Symptoms: I feel like an 80 year old woman when I walk. My pelvic bone feels like it might break in two and my hips are killing me. By the end of the day my calves and ankles are super swollen. It feels like I have shin splints from the skin around my calves being so tight. Then add in the heartburn and boy I am a mess! I know it will all be worth it in the end but right now it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

What you are looking forward to: Meeting our sweet boy!

Pregnancy Update ~ 32 weeks!

7 more weeks or 1 month and 18 days or 49 days! Let's just say it is coming up fast. Keeping the kids busy this summer is helping it fly by for me. We got Lucas' dresser on Thursday and Matt put it together last night while I was out for a girls night, so now that I have a place to put his clothes after I wash them. I am still researching what detergent I want to use for the cloth diapers so those will be getting washed soon too!

Also, on the 21st of June Matt went in for his Vasectomy. It went really well and he is doing great now. Since it is not 100% effective for about three months we didn't want to wait till after Lucas was here. When I really think about it, it makes me sad because I know that chapter (having kids) of our life will be over once Lucas is here but I have been given (almost) three wonderful gifts and for that I am truly thankful. Plus, like I have said before and many of you know, pregnancy and my body don't go well together!

How Far Along: 32 weeks

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, no new ones.

Movement: Still VERY active and I am savoring every moment of it!

Size of Baby: He measures about 17 inches long (size of a sqaush) and weighs in around 4 pounds. He is in the head down position and getting more and more cramped by the day!

Belly Button in or out? In but flat.

Cravings: COOKIES! I made cookie dough the other day (missed that post check it out here) and it was good but it seems cooked cookie are what I am craving. Kebbler Fudge Shoppe and Chick Fil A's new chocolate chunk are my favorites!

Sleep: Getting rough again but is not to bad since it is summer break and I don't have to get up early. My heartburn and pelvic is what keeps me up.

Sex of Baby: A sweet baby BOY...Lucas Parker!

Best Moment this week: Getting my c section officially scheduled for August 24th at 7:30am...7 more weeks!!

Weight Gain: We will not talk about this! ;)

Symptoms: Back pain, pelvic pain, and awful heartburn. I am taking a Zantac twice a day but having to take 2 Tums about an hour or so before I am due for the Zantac. This little boy better have hair when he comes out! haha

What you are looking forward to: At this point I am just looking forward to meeting our sweet boy!!

Pregnancy Update ~ 30 weeks!

I am a day late with this post because yesterday was Logan's birthday party and a VERY busy day but here you go!

Another trip to the hospital last Saturday revealed Lucas is head down, and that I am still have pretty intense contractions(duh, I knew that!)! I got to see my midwife while I was there this time and we talked about the contractions and that this little guy might not wait till 39 weeks to be born. I see her on Tuesday for my monthly appt and we will be scheduling my c-section at this appt. It will be August 24th just not sure what time yet. I will keep you posted when I get a time. That means in 8 weeks 4 days or 60 days this little guy will DEFINITELY be here!!

How Far Along: 30 weeks

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, no new ones.

Movement: Oh my YES...Matt got an awesome video of him "cleaning his womb" as we call it! Check it out here!

Size of Baby: He measures about 16 inches (size of a cucumber) and weighs in around 3.5 pounds. His skins is getting smoother and he is not strong enough to grasp your finger!

Belly Button in or out? In but flat.

Cravings: I am off my ice cream kick but Keebler Rainbow Chip cookies are a must have in this house right now! Oh and strawberries with cool whip, YUM-O!

Sleep: I have been sleeping pretty good the last week (hope I didn't just jinx myself by saying that)!

Sex of Baby: A sweet baby BOY...Lucas Parker!

Best Moment this week: Getting another 3D/4D ultrasound done. Missed that post check it out here!

Weight Gain: Oh goodness, I got on the scale for the first time in a week the other day and it was NOT pretty and I will leave it at that!!

Symptoms: Back pain, leg cramps, difficulty breathing, heartburn and my ankle are usually swollen in the evenings if I had a busy day. These have not really changed just some have gotten worse.

What you are looking forward to: Washing his clothes and diapers and packing his hospital bag!

29 week ultrasound pictures!

We are 9 weeks and 4 days from meeting our sweet boy and we got to see him today! Mr. Lucas Parker was a STUBBORN little guy. Like at every ultrasound he had his little hands in his face and at times he would bring his foot up in his face, too! We were able to get a few shots of his face but not many. Here are some of the good ones we got. The first one on top he has his hands on top of each other with his little chunky cheek resting on them! Can you say "sweet little angel"! That is my favorite one! The third one down on the right, you can see his eye is open and the bottom two he is smiling at us. I can't wait to kiss on those chunky cheeks and snuggle him all day!

Pregnancy Update ~ 28 weeks!

Wow, we have made it to the 3rd trimester!!! We are in the home stretch and I couldn't be more excited!! Now that it is summer and school is out the time is going to go even faster. I told Matt last night we need to get this little guy more clothes. Mainly some onesies and sleepers, because lets be honest that is what babies live in for the first month at least. I have not bought a cloth diaper in 2 weeks, crazy I know! I feel pretty good with the stash I have so far. I have been thinking about getting all of his clothes washed and ready but we have not made it to Ikea to get his dresser so there is no where to put them yet. Making that a goal by the end of June. His room is done other then the art work from a friend and of course the dresser.

I am still contracting fairly often but I have to say knowing that I have had those steroid shots makes me breathe a little easier. As much as we want to meet and snuggle this little guy, we definitely don't want him to come before he is ready!

How Far Along: 28 weeks

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, no new ones.

Movement: Yep! I love playing the "What body part is that?!" all day long!

Size of Baby: He is putting on layers of fat and now weighs in around 2.5 pounds and measures about 15 inches (size of an eggplant).

Belly Button in or out? In but flat.

Cravings: I can't say there is one thing I am craving right now. I'm at the point where I get full fast but am hungry again in an hour.

Sleep: What is sleep?!?! I was sick at the beginning of the week which made sleeping even harder. I am feeling much better (thanks to Tylenol and Sudafed every 4-6 hours) and back to sleeping OK other then waking up between 2-4 am to use the bathroom.

Sex of Baby: A sweet baby BOY...Lucas Parker!

Weight Gain: Probably around 25-30 pounds...again I say, I don't even want to know anymore.

Symptoms: Back pain, leg cramps, difficulty breathing, heartburn and my ankle are usually swollen in the evenings if I had a busy day.

What you are looking forward to: Our 3D/4D ultrasound at Sneek a Peek on June 18th!!

Pregnancy Update ~ 26 weeks!

How Far Along: 26 weeks (less then 100 days to go, WoOhOo!)

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, no new ones.

Movement: Yes but in the last 2 days it has slowed down some. He is most active in the evening.

Size of Baby: 14 inches long (about the size of a head of lettuce) and around 2 lbs.

Belly Button in or out? In but definitely flat now!

Cravings: I am back to craving red meat. I am thinking it is when he is have growth spurts that I crave it.

Sleep: I am sleeping OK for the most part. I did have a terrible leg cramp the other morning and I toss and turn a lot still.

Sex of Baby: A sweet baby BOY...Lucas Parker!

Weight Gain: Probably around 25 pounds...I honestly don’t want to know anymore.

Symptoms: Back pain, leg cramps, difficulty breathing, HORRIBLE heartburn and being tired often.

What you are looking forward to: Starting my third and final trimester (2 more weeks)!

Matt and I had a conversation the other night about how life is going to change when Lucas gets here. I can say I am ready for the change. Maybe it's because I remember not being prepared with Abby or maybe it's because we are older now. Who knows but I can't wait for what life will be like with 3 kids. Yes, we will be out numbered but Logan and Abby are pretty self sufficient now so that will help a lot.  Also, with both of them being in school during the day will make things a lot easier too.

I know I have said it before but I LOVE being a mommy!! :)

Pregnancy update and a hospital trip ~ 24 weeks

I know I am a day early with this post but it is going to be one busy weekend so I thought I would post it today!

How far along? 24 weeks ~ We have reach V-Day!!!

24 weeks marks VIABILITY! That means if Lucas was born now the doctors would do anything and everything to help him survive. As of this week he would have a 50% chance of survival and that percentage goes up every day that he stays inside me!!

Total weight gain/loss: 18-20 pounds gained depending on the day.

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, no new ones!

Sleep: A whole lot of tossing and turn which is not an easy task these days!

Best moment in the last 2 weeks: Getting to see our little guy again today! I will post picture of the little guy if I get a chance tonight!

Movement: YES! He is a very active little boy and I LOVE it!

Food cravings: Reese Puff's cereal!!

Gender: still a BOY...Lucas Parker Wuethrich!!

Labor Signs: Nope...I am still having Braxton Hicks contractions everyday!

Belly Button in or out? In but getting flatter!

What I miss: Being able to go up the stairs without losing my breath!

What I am looking forward to: getting to use all these cloth diapers I have been buying!!

Weekly Wisdom: Lucas is about 12 inch and weighs about 1.38 lbs!

I also wanted to share that yesterday we went to L&D for a few hours because I was having some contractions and they wanted to make sure I was not dilating. They ran some test and all came back fine, meaning the contractions were not making me go into labor (YAY!) but why was I having these contractions?! I was given 2 bags of fluid and was still have these contractions every 2-3 minutes with some smaller ones every minute. So they gave me a shot in my arm, which hurt like HELL and made my heart race and made me VERY shaky. They watched me for 20 minutes, but after about ten minutes the contractions started again so they gave me one more shot of that same medicine and that did the trick. I am so happy I went in because I knew I was having them, but just didn't realize how many I was having. I was also informed when I was there I had high amounts of sugar in my urine. I am going for my glucose test on Monday now instead of in two week. Keeping my fingers crossed it comes back fine and yesterday was just a fluke.

I am just thankful that my little guy is happy, healthy and safe in his "home" for another 15 weeks

Pregnacy Update ~ 20 weeks

I am so excited to have made it to 20 weeks! It is so awesome to know that in 19 weeks I will get to meet, snuggle and love on our sweet little boy. At my ultrasound I was so nervous that he might end up being a she after all. Before we found out I didn't care one way or another but since finding out at 15 weeks we were having a boy, I have fallen in love with him as a him and can't imagine having another girl. That being said, I am over the moon excited about Abigail being our only princess and if you know Abigail you know we got our girlie girl!

During the ultrasound yesterday, the little stinker kept his hands in his face the whole time so we never got a real good profile shot. I think he fell asleep during the ultrasound so that didn't help either. He was breech (no biggie right now) and was facing my spine. I LOVE feeling him move and watching my belly move. I have not been using my doppler every night since I started feeling him move all the time. In my opinion feeling movement it is the BEST part of pregnancy.

Here are a few pictures...
Here is my 20 week update!
