Weekend Recap ~ Mommy Daughter day

On Saturday, Abby and I went to see Mary Poppins the Broadway musical with some of my family. Abby had so much fun. She got to eat popcorn (see below picture) and hang out with her cousin. The musical was awesome. It was based on the book (didn't know there was a book?! Me either!) so it was different but still a great show. My favorite part hands down was the Step In Time scene. It was my favorite song from the movie and it was nothing short of amazing. They tap danced and a man "walked" up the side of the stage. If you ever have a chance to see it definitely go!

 After the show we all went to Buzz and Neds BBQ...YUM-O! It was a great Saturday with this sweet girl but we sure missed the boys and couldn't wait to get home to them!

Friday Letters ~ v7

It's been a few weeks since I have written letters, so let do this...

  

Dear Self,

Stop putting food in your mouth that you KNOW you shouldn't be eating...t-minus 120 days until the beach and you need to fit into your bathing suit.

Dear Disney Jr.,

Thanks you for entertaining my sweet boy, but could you get some new episodes already. When I can recite an entire episode of Mickey Mouse you know it has been on too many times in one day. 

Dear Brodie (our dog),

Sorry I don't pay you much attention ever that often, but having you here makes me feel safe when there are crazy people out there running scams door to door during the day.

Dear Candy Crush saga,

You are utterly addicting and I hate that I can't stop playing even when I have been stuck on the same level for 4 days. UGH!

Dear Etsy,

I could shop all day long on your site but I am trying to have some self control. Which is very hard when everything is so amazing.

Dear weekend,

I am so excited for you...Saturday is Mary Poppins on Broadway with my sweet girl and some of my family. Then Sunday we are FINALLY getting family pictures done (stay tuned for a post with those).
