Sunday Confessions - v18

It has been a LONG while since I have done Sunday Confessions so I am taking a page from my girl Mia's book and linking up some confessions! 

Here we go...

Confession #1
My hubby and I need a date night BAD! We have not had a date night, just the two of us, since our anniversary in January! I hate leaving Lucas even for a few hours but I think it is time we get some one on one time. Who wants to babysit...for FREE!? haha

Confession #2
I am so so so ready for the first day of school next Tuesday! I am not looking forward to getting up earlier then 9am but it will be nice to only have one little one to run errands with. I seem to put errands off now until the weekend or evening when Matt is home because taking 3 kids to 4 different stores is just no fun!

Confession #3
I get "lost" watching Lost. We started watching it a few weeks ago on Netflix and if I don't pay attention 100% while watching I get so confused. Anyone else watch this show!? Does it get easier to follow!?

Confession #4
As of today ALL my frozen breast milk is GONE! I am proud I EPed as long as I did because it got him to over a year old but it is super sad at the same time. He is still not taking a cup very well so we will continue to do whole organic milk in a bottle. He was a month early so I will give him at least until 14m to get the cup down and stop the bottle.

Confession #5
I looked like a hot mess walking through Target last night having to stop every 5-6 steps to pull my jeans up. Officially retiring my size 8 jeans! Love these kind of clothing problems, haha! #weightlossproblems

Sunday Confessions ~ v17

How do weekends go so fast but the week goes by so slow?!?! If anyone figures it out let me know, mmk! Alright, onto this weeks confessions...

Confession #1
I can't watch a movie more then once. I don't like reruns of TV shows either. I have never understood why people buy seasons of TV shows on DVD. If you know what is going to happen what fun is it. Maybe that's just me, ha!

Confession #2
I may or may not be planning to make chocolate chip cookies with my sweet girl today! Like, butter is already softening on the counter. I mean, how can I deny her this quality time with me. Right?!? ;) Exactly, I can't!

Confession #3
I finally got the treadmill from my moms and have been on it 3 times in 4 days. WoOhOo! I am only doing a mile right now, because I might die if I do anymore then that. This mama is NOT in shape! Now I just need to start eating better...starting Monday, I will log all my food into MyFitnessPal!

Confession #4
I thought I was on top of St. Patrick's Day and got the kids fun necklaces to wear, only to realize it is today and of course there is no school.  The first question out of their mouths was, "The leprechaun didn't come last night?" Epic Fail!!  They are still wearing/playing with their necklaces, so I guess it wasn't a total waste.

Sunday Confessions ~v16

This face makes everything better!

Another weekend has come and almost gone. This one was totally blah for us because Matt has been working 17+ hrs for 5 days now getting power back on from the snowstorm. Really hoping today is it and he will get to have his day off tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Ok, time to confess...

Confession #1
As much as I try I will never have a green thumb. I would probably kill an artificial plant if give the chance. This goes for indoor and outdoor plants. Total black thumb right here!

Confession #2
I started watching Brothers & Sisters on Netflix and it is sooo good. How did I not watch this show when it was on?! I am on season 3 episode 19. I will not give anything away because my good friend is watching it now too so I don't want to spoil anything for her, but WOW awesome show!

Confession #3
This snow storm has made me realize how ungrateful people are. The things that people say on the FB for my husbands work blows my mind. I understand not having power sucks (we lost it for 8hrs) but to say things that imply they are not working their hardest is uncalled for. Having a different power company is not going to stop a tree from falling, or just because you pay your bill every month doesn't mean you have a special right to be first in line. Those guys are working their butts off and don't deserve the awful comments. OK, that was more of a rant then a confession, sorry!

Confession #4
I can't stop making chocolate chip cookies. I made them twice this week. I did better and didn't eat as much of the cookie dough as I normally do. I can recite the recipe and amounts of each ingredients right now without looking. NOT GOOD, haha! First it was pumpkin muffins in the fall now cookies...I think I need an intervention!

Sunday Confessions ~v15

Time to confess...

Confession #1
I have not done Lucas' 7 month blog post yet because I am in denial that he is, yet again, another month older. *sad face*

Confession #2
I cancelled my Weight Watchers subscription! I have not been good since I got the stomach bug at the end of January. Thinking of trying MyFitnessPal. Anyone using it?! Friend me (kwuethrich) because I could use the support. Plus, we go to the beach in 112 days...EEKK!

Confession #3
I have a little obsession with BBQ Pringles. It really is true "Once you pop, you can't stop"! These don't help above confession either.

Confession #4
Just 19 days until the big 3-0! I am starting to think I will be OK with it. It is just a number after all, right?! Hoping the hubs is picking up on all my birthday gift hints because that will make it even more OK for me, haha!

Confession #5
Sometime I think worse case scenario...oh who am I kidding, I always think like that! It has gotten worse now that I have kids. They fall and my mind will go to all those horrible "what if" thoughts even if they are totally fine. Major worry wart right here and I'm not afraid to say it!

Sunday Confessions ~ v14

It's that day again...

Confession #1
I have an OCD with "even" numbers. The tv or car radio volume has to be on an even number. I am not sure when it started, but Matt and the kids even know to put the volume on an even number now... at least when I'm around! I guess we all have our little quirks, right?!

Confession #2
I am having MAJOR empty womb syndrome! (I might have made that syndrome up). I don't miss the aches and pains of pregnancy but I miss feeling Lucas move around. This might have to do with all the people announcing they are pregnant. Congrats to you all, BTW!

Confession #3
I HATE teenagers people that think it is OK to drop the F bomb in the middle of a store or restaurant when my kids are standing right there. Have some respect for goodness sake! I understand freedom of speech and all, but that doesn't mean you should just cuss like a sailor in public. I might slip up every now and again around my kids but NEVER with the F bomb. If you know me, I am more likely to say "peas and carrots" or "good googly moogly" (thanks Nick Jr and Maggie and the Ferocious Beast).

Confession #4
I am a mini van driving, Flo Rider listening momma and darn proud of it! I have said it before, I LOVE music. The song "I Cry" is such a good song and I will jam out to it, even in my grocery getter!

Confession #5
There are some changes coming to my blog and I am SOOO excited about them! Check back later this week.

Sunday Confessions ~ v13

I am a day late with these but if it counts I started the post yesterday. Ok, let get on with it!

Confession #1
I am in stroller HELL! I had the bright idea when I was pregnant to just get a carseat and a snap n go stroller but now we need to get a regular one and I am so over whelmed with all the different ones out there it makes my head hurt. Fellow mommy's, tell me which one you love, please!!

Confession #2
I just want to cry...his boy right here is growing up way to fast. He will be 9, yes you read that right 9 in a few months. We will be talking double digits next year people. I have said it before but PLEASE time, can you slow down!

Confession #3
Dieting is not going so well. I am holding steady in the mid 150's but can't get my act straight and back on Weight Watchers. I did lose last week (.7lbs) but I am afraid this week, I will not be so lucky! I am sure it has nothing to do with the amount of cookie dough I ate over the weekend, right?!

Confession #4
I am having so much fun making all of Lucas' baby food. It is so easy and I love that he is getting just a veggie or fruit without all the added stuff store bought stuff has in it. Plus, it is sooo much cheaper. I spend about $25 on a bunch of organic fruits and veggies and get around 25 days worth of food. That's a $1 a day...you can't beat that!

Confession #5
I went 23 hours without pumping the other day and almost had a mini heart attack. I know I said I was not going to stress about it now that I made my 6m goal but it is a lot easier said then done. I got up and pumped asap and barely got 8oz. That is a big difference from before. I had to reevaluate my freezer stash since we have been using around 2 bags a day and I still have just over 3,000oz in there so that made me feel much better. That will last him about 110 days, getting him to almost 10 months. I think I need to set an end date and have Matt hold me too it. Mentally I don't think I can stop on my own. I have totally thought about trying to build my supply back up but then think about having Mastitis and change my mind. haha

Time for some confessions...

Confession #1
I have the most amazing hubby ever! No, really I do...did you see these beautiful flowers he got me for our 10 year anniversary. Roses were our wedding flower and every year he gets me the amount of roses for how many years we are celebrating. I snagged a good one that's for sure!

Confession #2
The flu can kiss my ASS!! I mean really, my poor Lucas Parker has been sick for a week now and I feel like the flu bug is in him laughing at us because nothing we do will make it go away any faster. I just picture the Mucinex commercial with the gross looking "people" and see it just kicked back enjoying life inside my sweet boy. UGH!

Confession #3
I am beyond excited for the VA blogger meet up next weekend. Can't wait to meet and hang out with some awesome ladies. If you are in VA and want to come let me know and I will get you the info. Thanks to Mia and Erica for putting it together!

I am in LOVE with our new Keurig! Best Christmas present ever...Thanks mom and dad!

I decided that parenting school aged children is not for me. I need an EASY button to just skip over this part of parenting!

Confession #3
I am too cheap to pay someone to make me a new blog design so looks like this one will be sticking around a while so I am glad you all said you liked it last week! haha

Confession #4
I don't do laundry...I have an amazing hubby that does it and I couldn't be more grateful to him. Our laundry room is in the basement and as lazy as it sounds I HATE going down there. Thanks love, your the best!

Confession #5
My parents are taking the kids to Disney over spring break and I am already starting to panic about them being gone that long. The longest they have been away from me is when we had Lucas and I still saw them everyday so it was not too bad. They will be gone Monday-Friday (coming home Saturday). That is five days of just talking to them on the phone. I know they are going to have a blast but it is going to be hard for this mommy! Oh and did I mention they are flying...for the first time ever?!?! oh.my.gosh.heart.palpitations

OK I need to go calm myself down now...Happy Sunday everyone!

First 2013 confessions...let get this underway!


Confession #1
I have to admit this out loud...I HATE DIETING!!!!! Ok, I am sure that is no shock because really who likes to diet. I am back on WW and it is slow going but I signed up so that is the first step! I want to lose 20 lbs by summer. I got this!

Confession #2
There is a part of my that wants football to be over because it stresses me out every week but of course I am so excited about today's Skins playoff game! HAIL!

Confession #3
I got my iPhone 5, YAY! I love it and I know they will probably put another one out in a few months so mine will be "old" but I don't care. I'm still glad I finally upgraded.

Confession #4
My blog design SUCKS! I did it all myself, it totally blows and I am fully aware of it. I have been looking at different ones online and I can't pick on...decisions, decisions!

Confession #5
I want a one big snow storm this winter...just one! Is that to much to ask mother nature?!

Confession #6
I am totally slacking on Lucas' 5 month update blog post. I will get it up this week, promise!

Sunday Confessions ~ v9

It's confession time...a little late but here we go!


Confession #1
I went and saw the last movie to the Twilight series on Friday with my sister in law and all I have to say is WOW! It was definitely the best one and I will leave it at that!

Confession #2
We got Lucas' monitor in the mail but we have not moved him to his room yet. I am just not ready. I like having him so close. Maybe next weekend we will try, maybe!

Confession #3
I am still losing weight (46lbs so far) but know that if I would eat better and exercise I would lose a lot more. I just can't find the will power to eat good and with the holiday's coming up I definitely don't see it happening.

Confession #4
I am so ready excited for Thanksgiving and all the yummy food. I am making green beans and a pumpkin roll to take to my parents. YUM-O! What are you all making?!

Confession #5
I hate odd number but I always seem to do 5 confessions, WEIRD! I might need to fix this now that I have pointed it out to myself!

Confession #1
I am not ready for Lucas to move into his room. He is over the weight and age limit on the bassinet so I don't have much of a choice. *sad face* His new video monitor will be here this week and then we will made the transition!

Confession #2
I went to Target the other day and forgot half of what I went there for but yet still spent $80. Ugh, Target you are so dangerous!

Confession #3
I went a little crazy on eBay this week. I placed bids on a bunch of stuff but only won a few of them. I guess it was for the best. Bidding is so addicting!

Confession #4
Matt and I makes some super cute babies! Just saying! ;)

It's Sunday and time for confessions..


Confession #1
I don't clean my house as much as I should. I could blame it on having a newborn but to be honest I just HATE cleaning. When I do clean I have to have music on to keep me motivated.

Confession #2
I need a major blog make over. I still love the colors but want a new design. I can't find time to work on it so I have been looking at ones from DesignerBlogs. I just can't commit to one I like the most. MELODIE is my favorite I think.

Confession #3
I am officially a mini van mama! It is everything I imagined it to be!

Confession #4
I have made pumpkin muffins twice and I can't stop eating them. I always double the recipe and freeze them after they cool. I pop two in the microwave for 30 seconds and it taste like it is fresh out of the oven! Yum-O!

Confession #5
I drink a lot of water these day and my favorite cup I got from the hospital when I had Lucas, has a small crack on the bottom so now I need a new one but can't seem to find one online...UGH! Yes, I know I can just use another cup but there is something about that cup I love. Don't judge! haha

Sunday Confessions ~ v6

It's Sunday Confession time!! Lets get this going...

Confession #1
I have to admit I am kinda superstitious or maybe I just do reverse psychology on myself. They always say people never think anything bad can happen to them, so if I just think it will then it won't, right?! Matt says I just over think things, haha!

Confession #2
I get VERY angry watching football. I tell Matt I am going to stop watching every week and then the next Sunday comes and I am right there watching again (like right now...GRRR)!

Confession #3
In exactly 5 months I will celebrate my 1 year anniversary of being 29 years old!

Confession #4

I watched a whole season of One Tree Hill in 2 days. Why oh why does it have to be so good. I am not sure what I will do when I am done. Anyone have any other good shows you watch?! I prefer ones that are on Netflix so I don't have to watch annoying commercials.

Confession #5

I can't stop taking pictures of my little guy. Logan and Abby are at school or off playing so I don't take as many of them but poor Lucas is stuck getting his picture taken all the time. I need to take more with my good camera because my iPhone is getting pretty full.

Confession #1
Gossip Girl is my new guilty pleasure. I started watching it on Netflix from season 1 and I am all caught up and ready for October 8th to be here already.

Confession #2
Fall time makes we want to bake. My all time favorite Fall recipe is Pumpkin Muffins...here is the recipe, you should totally try them!

Confession #3
I have about 15lbs more to lose to be back to my pre-pregancy weight and 25lb to be at my all time goal weight. I am still losing weight but I am sure it will stop soon and the dieting will commence.

Confession #4
I need my hair colored...like last month. I have about 5 or 6 inches of roots and those hair we don't speak of, you know the gray ones, are in full effect.

Confession #5
We only have one 4 legged family member now. After a month and half of being home with Lucas, we realized that Jaxon needed way more attention then we could give him now. We placed him in a VERY loving home with a family that has 5 acres and a pond. We have spoken to them since he left and he is doing amazing. They are spoiling him rotten and said he is a complete joy!

I have not been blogging and feel so out of the loop in the blog world *insert sad face*! I am going to be better, or I will try anyway!

Confession #2
Have bags under my eyes and I am not OK with it. I love love love my little guy but this mama needs more sleep.

Confession #3
Dinner this Tuesday with 3 of my favorite blog ladies! Good food and great conversion is just what I need.

Confession #4
I LOVE "Live with Kelly and Michael". I look forward to watching it every morning. As soon as I get the kids on the bus I turn the cartoons off and put it on ABC. I was not sure about Michael Strahan as her co host at first but I like them together.

Confession #5
So excited that it is FALL. Can't wait for the Apple Festival, the pumpkin patch and trick or treating. Then it will be onto my most favorite holiday's of the year, Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Here we go...

1. My sweet tooth from when I was pregnant has NOT gone away. I still crave cookies and ice cream everyday. I guess I can't blame it on Lucas anymore.
2. I am getting sad about my little girl starting kindergarten. I thought I would be fine with it but sitting here watching Matt label their school supplies is making it so real. Tuesday is going to be a interesting day for me!
3. I am having blog withdrawals...things are so crazy around here that I have not had a chance to blog much and I am missing it. This is a start, right?!
4. I am exclusively pumping because nursing didn't work out for Lucas. It is a lot of work but so worth it for my little guy. I have an amazing supply so that helps keep me going too!

Here we go...

• I am so into blogging. It has become a part of my everyday life and even my husband asks me about it now. 
• I am ready for school to start, like yesterday! I love being at home with them but right now entertaining them is getting harder. I hate not taking them to do stuff but I just don't have it in me most days.
• I LOVE my maternity pictures! My awesome friend Melanie did them for me and they turned out great. Look for a post in a few days once I get them all edited but here is a peek at one!

• I am tired of ignorant people and their comments about how "big" my belly is. YES, I am only having one and NO, you can't touch my belly. UGH!
• I want a van but am not ready to give up my car yet. We can all fit in the car even once Lucas gets here so I think that is making me put it off.

Sunday Confessions ~ v1

It's Sunday (BOO) and I am linking up for the first time with Alyx over at Every Day is a New Adventure.




Here we go...

1. I am Apple obsessed. I know I have talked about this before but on Friday night instead of grocery shopping we went to Best Buy and got my new iMac and I am in LOVE...27" of pure awesomeness.

2. I am totally obsessed in love with my husband. This man is amazing and I have the life I have because of him. We have a relationship like no other and sometimes people pick on us for it but there is not a darn thing I would change. Can't wait to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary in January.

3. I am so ready for Sons of Anarchy to come back on September 11th. Everyone seems to be shocked I like that show. I just started watching it last year and caught up on from season 1 in a week. It is packed with action, suspense and a lot of craziness but I LOVE it!

4. I love music. I am listening to my iTunes as I type this. I would rather listen to music than watch TV. Yes, I have shows I like to watch but nothing is better then just sitting around listening to some good music.

5. I have become a huge fan of online shopping. I am not sure if the, not having to leave the house aspect, as much as it is the excitement of getting a package at home. Yes, I am like a kid at Christmas when I get a package in the mail.
