Surprise Surprise...the weekend is over!

Dang the weekends go way to fast! I swear it feels like there are only 12 hours in a day not 24. Time flies when you are having a good time, right!?

Friday we got a sitter (shocking I know!) and went to dinner with Mia, one of my most favorite people, and her hubby.

Matt and I really need to be better and do a date night once a month like we said we would be at the beginning of the year. We have only done it twice now and first time was our anniversary back in January and then Friday night! Got to make more US time! 

Saturday the kids and I hung around the house and did a whole lot of nothing while Matt was at work. Then Sunday was a veg kinda day again because I seem to have come down with a sinus infection or something. We did do a little grocery shopping but that was about it. We are such party animals aren't we!? Don't be jealous! ;)

Now it is Monday and Matt is back at work, which means this sick momma must push through and take care of things. Lucas is down for a nap and the older two are playing quietly in Logan's room. I really want to lay down but I know I will feel worse when I have to wake up so here I am typing this instead, haha!

Weekend Recap with a side of cuteness overload!

We had a pretty laid back weekend here. Saturday morning I got my nails done while Matt and the kiddos went to Logan's baseball practice then we all came home and ate lunch before heading out to run errands. Abby had plans to go to dinner with a friend so that left just the boy and I. We went to dinner at Chili's and did a little shopping at Wal-Mart after then headed to pick Abby up.

Sunday we stayed home and did stuff around the house and got a few things marked off my list of home decor needs/wants. Like getting Abby's new bed put together, adding an entry way bench under the chalk board wall and hanging up some of our new family pictures (blog post coming soon with all the awesome pictures). All and all it was a great weekend that just went to dang fast like they always do!

On another note...I have said this a million times but I seriously can't get enough of this sweet face! ♥ He is so photogenic and I LOVE taking his picture. Logan and Abby were the same way but now I can't get them to sit still long enough to get more than one picture, haha! They are just to busy for mommy I guess. So you will have to just deal with this cute face! Complete torture, right!? haha

Thank you for helping me see for the last month but I am so glad to have my contacts again. Being nearly blind (not really) sucks and one day I will get Lasik, if I can get the courage that is.

I wish I could wear you everywhere I go. I might just leave the house a little more often! My post pregnancy jeans fall down all the time and my pre pregnancy fit but are a little tighter then I like. PJ pants and tank tops are my best friend these days but just aren't appropriate for public. *sad face*

Dear Spring,

I am so ready for you and all the wonderful things you bring with you. I am so over the cold weather and blah looking nature. I am ready for all the color to return!

Dear Girl Scout cookies,

Why do you have to be so yummy. These 4 boxes will be gone in a week and I will not buy anymore. One splurge is all I am allowing myself. 

Dear Logan and Abby,

I am so excited you get to go to Disney again (thanks Momps and Pops) but mommy is starting to have a really hard time with the thought of you being gone for 6 days. Thank heavens for Skype or I might have a nervous breakdown while you are gone. Mommy, daddy and Lucas will miss you bunches!
