Currently ~ v12

Currently...

Eating ~ not much...1200 calories a day isn't much. I have done really good the last week though. I have not been starving like I was when I started counting calories 4 weeks ago. I actually had around 150 left over the last 2 nights. I have thought about having a free day but can't decide what to eat so I end up not doing it. There are too many things I crave to pick just one. 

Drinking ~ water and coffee. I have one cup of coffee a day and then it's water water water! I have not been as good with my water intake as I should be so I need to work on that. I miss my cup I got from the hospital when I had Lucas. Something about that cup made me drink a lot of water. It cracked so I had to throw it away. *sad face* I have looked online for a new one but you have to buy them in bulk, BOO!

Wishing ~ it was the weekend already. Logan has baseball practice Saturday then we are doing somethings around the house. Sunday we are going to Kings Dominion if it doesn't rain. Although, it would be less crowded if it was overcast and rainy but I wouldn't want to take Lucas out in that. So, fingers crossed it doesn't rain.

Loving ~ this little boy and his silly faces! This was at Target yesterday. He thought it was funny to stick that little tongue out at me the whole way through the store! Of course, I didn't mind because it was just too cute!

Dreaming ~ of so many things. I would love to have a little nip and tuck now that we are done having kids. I would also love to buy a bigger house with a more open floor plan. Dang, I just need to win the lottery. I guess you have to play to win though and I never play so don't look for a blog post about me winning anytime soon, haha!

Currently ~v11

Drinking ~ water water and more water! Even though I am done breastfeeding I still drink nothing but water except when we go out to dinner I will occasionally get an unsweetened tea but not often. A total180 from before Lucas...I HATED water, ha!

Buying ~ too many extra lives on stupid Candy Crush! Let me tell you $0.99 adds up FAST! I finally passed level 135 last night thanks to a "lollipop hammer"! Now I am stuck on 142, ugh! What level are you on!? I know you all play, just admit it. ;)

Driving ~ Matt crazy with all my home decor projects. I want to paint our bedroom and bathroom, power wash the house, make a flower bed out front and plant flowers and get our carpets cleaned. It is not a big list but just time consuming things. I am sure the outside stuff doesn't bother him but he loathes painting so he will put that off as long as he can.

Missing ~ Logan and Abby!!!!!! They are having a blast at Disney but boy do I miss them. It's not too bad during the day because they are usually at school but at night I miss them so much. They will be home Saturday night and I can't wait!

Obsessing ~ about losing these last 15 lbs. I have been doing great counting calories and working out every other day but I seem to have hit a wall. I am thinking I should work out longer. I have been doing 1 mile on the treadmill so maybe I will try to increase to a mile and a half. Hopefully that will help, if not I am not sure what I should to do. Any advice!?

Feeling ~ lazy...I am not sure what the deal is. I always thought when you ate good and worked out you are suppose to feel more energized but I'm not. Today is workout day and my leg are sore but I don't want to skip my workout all together so I am going to just walk today and not do intervals. Something is better then nothing, right!?

Imagining ~ being at the beach this summer! I can't wait to just kick back and relax for a week. I am not really a fan of the sand so most of my relaxing will be by the pool at the house. I will go down to the beach for the kids each day but it just won't be very relaxing.

Considering ~ what color to paint the our bedroom. It is still plain white and it's driving me nuts! I am thinking a medium shade of gray. I still like the yellow and gray scheme but yellow is not an option. Once we get it painted then I can work on putting yellow accents in room. Like the curtains and decorative pillows on the bed. The ideas in my head are endless!

Listening to ~ Disney Jr...surprise surprise!! Lucas loves some Mickey Mouse which is actually on as I am typing this!

Moving ~ nothing yet, but next week we are going to be cleaning out the kids rooms while they are in Disney. The Goodwill is going to love me. These two kiddos have way to many toys that they don't even play with. I will save some stuff for Lucas but obviously not the girl stuff. This is long over due and I am actually excited to do it. I'm such a weirdo, ha!

WATCHING ~ Disney Jr...Mickey Mouse is Lucas' favorite. As soon as the kids leave for school that is what is on my TV until Lucas goes to bed. He only really watches when there is singing on a show. He gets glued on the TV when Choo Choo Soul comes on in between shows. Here is a video of him jumping in his jumper when it was on the other night.

CRAVING ~ one on one time with my husband! One of my New Years resolutions was to have a date night once a month with him. It has now been over a month since we had dinner out just the two of us and that was for our anniversary. Need to plan it ASAP!

LOOKING ~ at shopping cart/high chair covers for Lucas. I can't keep lugging him around in his car seat. He is a heavy little big guy! I want one with elastic all the way around it. I LOVE this one on Etsy but it will take 2-3 weeks to get since it is custom made. Decisions, decisions!

LOVING ~ that Logan likes to read. He asked me the other night if he could keep reading after finishing his 15 minutes of reading homework. This mama was never a fan of reading so I am glad he likes it!

PLANNING ~ Lucas' 1st birthday...I only have 4 1/2 months left until my sweet boy is a year old. Time is flying and I can't seem to slow it down. I already have decided on a theme but I am not ready to share that yet!

I think Mr. Groundhog fibbed a little!

EATING ~ bad bad yummy Girl Scout cookies. I only purchased two boxes so I have been trying to make them last and today makes a week and I still have some left, so go me!

DRINKING ~ water...that is all I drink now since having Lucas. I feel like I might float away sometimes because I drink so much!

LISTENING ~ to my little people play, haha! After 6" of snow they have been out if school the last two days, so laughing and playing is all I hear right now. Music to a mommy's ears!

READING ~ nothing! I really want to find a good book but don't know of any good ones. I just can't do Fifty Shades, haha! Any other recommendations?!

THINKING ~ about joining our local Stroller Stride class. I need to start working out and once the weather gets warmer I think that would be a great thing to help get Lucas and I out of the house more. I have to find a stroller I like first, though and that is a harder task then I ever imagine it would be.

Currently I am...

Loving the fall weather! I am so thankful it is not 100 degree outside anymore. I love the colors of the trees when I am driving down the road to my house. One nice thing about living in the country!

Looking at the Sock Monkey line at Crazy 8...can you say C-U-T-E! I must get Lucas the hat for this winter. I might just go by there today and get it.

Cooking lots of muffins. I can't get enough pumpkin and bananas muffins. The first batch of pumpkin muffin we all ate but I swear I ate the whole second batch by myself...NOT GOOD! haha

Catching up on TV shows. We are so behind on all our shows that I try to watch a few during the day. There are a few that I can't watch with out Matt (SOA, Criminal Minds, Mike and Molly) so we will have to catch up on those this weekend.

Missing my hubby! This storm was not as bad as some but he has still been working a lot this week and when he gets home it is time for bed so we don't get to talk much.

Feeling exhausted! You are never prepared for the lack of sleep you experience with a newborn. To be honest I think I had finally catching up on sleep from when Abby was born when I got pregnancy with Lucas. haha He has being sleeping pretty good lately, about 6-7 hours at night so I guess I can't complain.

Drinking water, water and more water! I swear it is why I have such a great milk supply for my little guy.

Looking for decoration ideas for Abby's party! I can't wait for it to all come together.

Dreaming of a white sandy beach...OK not really! haha To be honest I am dreaming of when Lucas is old enough to start interacting with Logan and Abby. He is smiling so much more these days and starting to "coo" more too.

Making pork chops and applesauce for dinner. If you have never had the two together then you are totally missing out!

I LOVE these goofy kids!

currently I am...

Listening to my iTunes as I type this. Something about music puts me at ease and it helps me think. I could honestly listen to music 24 hours a day. Even at night when I am sleeping. When I was in high school (yes, that was 11 years ago) I would sleep with my radio on every night. When Matt and I got married I switched to just a fan because he was not a fan of the music, although that man sleeps so sound I am not sure he even heard it.

Daydreaming of hold my little guy in my arms all day long! I am going to be so selfish with him. I mean I carried him for 39 weeks why shouldn't I be aloud to hog him. With the kids at school and Matt at work, I will get all the time I want during the day so I guess I can share a little in the evenings.

Wanting a sewing machine so bad. I asked Matt the other night if I could get one and he said "No, you don't know how to sew." I said "well duh that is why I am getting a machine that will do it for me." hahaha I mean yes I will still need learn how to use it and all but it is not like sewing by hand. He just laughed at me.

Looking forward to planning our vacation to the beach next year. I know it is a year away but we never made it to the beach this year and I am not about to let that happen again next year. We are going to stay at the KOA in the Outer Banks. I think the kids will love the camping (in a cabin with AC of course) aspect, plus it is right on the beach and you don't pay anywhere near what a hotel on the beach cost.

Writing nothing... how many people actually writes with pen and paper these days. Not me that's for sure. Now, typing I do a lot of that...emailing, blogging, Facebook, etc.

Currently I am...

Enjoying these last few weeks of feeling Lucas move around. Knowing this is my last pregnancy is making me savor every little move he makes. It is my favorite part of being pregnant and will miss it once he is finally here.

Indulging in my Georgetown cupcakes! I try to spread the dozen out over a few weeks so I don't feel so guilty about eating them. In less than 5 weeks when this little boy vacates my body I will be back on WW. I can't wait to get back to my pre-pregnant self. I look at pictures from before and get teary eyed. It is all worth it but it is still hard to see the effect pregnancy has on your body.

Learning all I can about cloth diapering. I have a really good stash to get me started and I can't wait to see Lucas in them. I am watching a lot of YouTube videos to get different information from moms out there that have been CDing a long time. I finally decided on a detergent and am hoping to get them all washed this weekend.

Becoming aware at how much my life is going to change in a few short weeks. Both of the kids will be in school, which will be a big change and then of course there is Lucas' arrival (only 4 more weeks!!!). I am excited and nervous about both. This is a big year for Logan. Third grade is the first year of SOL testing and "real" grading. I know Abby will do fine in Kindergarten. She is beyond ready for it! Then there is adjusting to having a newborn in the house again after almost 6 years. These are all wonderful changes and I will be welcoming them with open arms!

Cooking nothing...ever since Matt worked all those hours for the storm, I have been totally slacking in the cooking department. I am trying to get back to cooking dinner at least 5 nights but eating out or having Matt pick something up on his way home is so much easier. haha I am going grocery shopping today so I won't be able to use the "we have nothing to cook" excuse anymore. Bummer!

Making a BABY! OK, that was pretty cheesy but also very true. This little boy is "baking" away in my belly and in 5 weeks (or less if I am lucky) he will be in our arms. I love all the saying out there like "I grow humans, what is your super power"! It takes a lot of work to grow a little person.

Working on a plan for the master bedroom. Now that Lucas' room is just about done. I am trying to focus on getting new bedding for our room. Matt agreed to the gray and yellow but I just can't go too flowery. I have an image in my head of what I want but finding it is the hard part. I want to pick out the bedding and piece it together from there. There is one at Kohl's I have been looking at online but can't decide. I will post a sneak peek of the bedding when I finally pick one out.

Reading nothing at the moment. I have been wanting to get into a good book but time has not been on my side. Maybe after the kids are in school and Lucas' is here. Maybe!

Listening to Logan play the Wii at this very moment. He has a wrestling game he loves that he got for Christmas. It is actually funny to watch him play it because he has a funny little "dance" he does when he is wrestling someone. Matt recorded it a while back and it was hilarious to watch, although Logan didn't think so!

A peek at Lucas' nursery!

Currently I am . . . 

Missing my pre pregnancy body...I worked so hard to lose weight after I had Abby and I am ready to get back to it after Lucas is here. It is no secret that I am not a fan of exercising but I did Weight Watchers and got awesome results so if I get my butt in the gym this time while doing it I know the results will be even better!

Dreaming of holding my sweet boy in my arms finally. With only 6 weeks (or 43 days) to go until my c section, I have washed all his clothes and will be working on getting his diapers washed next. Still trying to figure out what detergents to use (Do you CD?! What detergent do you like?!). This weekend I plan on getting his bag packed for the hospital!

Loving summer break with Logan and Abby. Don't get me wrong there are days where I might pull my hair out, but I am still enjoying all the fun we are having...swimming, bowling, $1 movies! School starts in around 40 days and then it will be back to homework and early bedtimes. Blah!

Laughing at my crazy husband! The man can put a smile on my face no matter what my mood is. That is one of the many reasons I love him so much! I love getting crazy random text from him during the day. There are times that I laugh so hard I think my stomach will burst.

Wishing the weekends didn't go by so fast. I feel like as soon as they start they are over. We are still busy with Logan's baseball games and of course trying to finish things around the house so there is not much time for relaxing on the weekends. Matt will be off for 11 days when Lucas is born and even though it will not be a relaxing 11 days but it will be nice to have him home and not worry about if he will be called into work at any given moment!

Currently I am...

Inspired by all the successful blogger. I am working so hard to get my blog out there and gain followers and seeing/reading all your blogs gives me hope that I can get mine there too one day! It is hard work and takes time but I know it will pay off in the long run!

Devouring SWEETS! Oh my goodness do I need sweets in my life right now. Well, actually let me specify and say cookies. I can not go a whole day without having cookies. Keebler are my favorite from the store but Chick Fil A's new chocolate chunk cookie are AMAZING!

Thankful for AC...it is so hot these days and being almost 32 weeks pregnant in this heat is tough. I know it is a luxury but it is one luxury I can NOT live without these days so I am SUPER thankful for it!

Watching my belly move! Knowing that I have this sweet little boy all cozy inside my belly makes me smile from ear to ear. He is so active and I love it. I am savoring every moment of it because I know this will be my last pregnancy.

Starting to get sad that my sweet girl is starting school in 6 1/2 weeks. I am planning to have all my back to school shopping done but the beginning of Aug just in case Lucas decides to come early. I already ordered and received their new book bags and lunch boxes a few weeks ago. Seeing Abby with hers on makes me tear up a little. I know she is ready and all but right now she is still my baby and it is bittersweet for me!
