An award for ME!?!?!?!

I am a little late getting this post up. Life happened and I just got busy! 

Back at the beginning of September I was contacted by Jenny Franklin over at Party Pail about the decorations I did for Lucas' party. They wanted to award me with the BEST DECORATION award. Of course, I am so excited because I made every single thing which makes this award even more special! I put so much time and thought into every detail so this is definitely the icing on the cake for all my hard work!

I finally got the CD last Friday with all of the pictures. We took decorations from his party and I think that totally made the pictures more awesome! He was not in the best mood toward the end so you can see he was crying in the last few. 

I might have waiting longer then a would have liked to get them but boy was it worth the wait!

Can he get any cuter!?

I am not sure how I will ever pick from them all for printing and framing! Think it would be weird to have a whole wall of just Lucas pictures!? haha I kid I kid! Which is your favorite!?

Wordless{ish} Wednesday ~ Lucas 1 yr pictures!

Took almost 2 1/2 weeks to get these sneak peeks of my handsome guy but I am in LOVE with them. He getting big too darn fast! Where is the pause button!?!?! *SIGH*

I will share more once I get the CD of all the pictures. Hopefully I will have it Friday! This photographer, while her pictures are great, the turn a around time and communication is seriously lacking. So with that said, I am not holding my breath I will have the CD by Friday.

The anniversary of the day we became a family of FIVE!

Oh my goodness...How did 8 months (he was a month early, remember!?) go so slow but 12 months FLEW right by!? Is there a time machine out there to go back to this day one year ago!? Ahh, what I would give for sleepless nights, around the clock pumping, and the endless newborn cuddles. Do I sound completely crazy yet!? I have dreaded having to write this post for the last year. I don't want my baby to be ONE already.

There is a knot in my stomach as I type all this. I have said it probably 100 times since he was born but I will say it again, he has made our family and my heart complete. Watching him with his brother and sister melts me to mush. They LOVE their little brother to the moon and back. Oh and let's not forgot what a daddy's boy he has become. If Matt is around, this mama is chopped liver, haha! I know it is normal especially since he is with me ALL the time. I get my cuddles during the day so I am not complaining...well maybe a little! He is not walking but cruising along furniture at high speeds. I am totally not rushing it. Once he is walking that will make him an official toddler and my heart just can't handle that yet!

This boy L-O-V-E-S food...totally our kid, haha! He is on all BIG boy food. He loves plain noodles, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, sweet potatoes (I bake them and cut into chunks), carrots, green beans, yogurt, bananas, Go Go Squeeze, oatmeal, and waffles. He has been enjoying all the fresh fruit we have been eating lately too. He still only has the two bottom teeth. Those top ones are right there but just not breaking through. He will still be getting breast milk for a few more weeks but we have been working on using a cup. He is not a fan of anything we have put in it. He knows how to drink from it but will just let whatever is in it dribble back out of his mouth. Silly boy!

His 1 year check up is next Thursday so I will do another post with the stats from that. I will also hopefully have a few sneak peeks of his 1 year photo shoot that we are doing this Sunday.

Operation 1st Birthday Party ... SUCCESS!

I did it! I pulled off Lucas' 1st birthday party. I am over the moon happy with how it all turned out. Thanks again to everyone that came and helped us celebrate "Our Little Monster" turning ONE!

Ahh, I am seriously the luckiest mama in the world to have three of the most amazing kiddos, that fill my heart with so much joy, love and happiness! I wish I would have gotten a picture Saturday with the three of them together but next Sunday is Lucas' 1 year photo shoot so I will get a few then for sure!
