Wednesday Ramblings

• my kids are the PICKIEST eaters
• I mean the food I cook is not that bad.
• right?!
• guess I am a little picky too.
• at least I have a husband that will eat anything.
• yay for that! haha
• I have been making dinner just about EVERY night for two weeks.
• yes, I will give my self a pat on the back for that.
• you can save so much money cooking dinner and not eating out.
• imagine that!! ;)
• I do have to I repeat have to have my weekly Chipotle fix.
• if anyone out there thinks I could survive without it, you are sorely mistaken.
• maybe I should just open my own.
• hmmm, that's a thought! ;)

Wednesday Ramblings

• it's NOVEMBER, YAY!
• I am so ready to pig out on the 24th and enjoy time with my family!
• it's a time to reflect on all the wonderful things in your life.
• finally after almost 4 years of living in this house we bought a table for the breakfast nook!
• it will be here tomorrow and I am so excited.
• I am going to work on letting the kids do more craft stuff.
• we will see how that goes.
• we have a busy weekend coming up.
• I am most excited about helping celebrate a sweet little girls 1st birthday!
• Logan and Abby got their flu shots and were so brave and did not shed a tear.
• Matt has to work out of town next week.
• that means 5 days and 4 nights of single parenting.
• I can do it, I can do it!
• very proud of the tutu I made for Abby! (check out the blog here)
• getting excited for her birthday party but still a lot to do!
• Matt had so much fun doing the Primal Mud Run last Saturday. (check out the blog here)
• they have already announced the next one, April 14th, 2012!
• can't wait to watch him do it again!
• I must touch on a not so happy note.
• my poor Redskins are not doing so hot anymore but I love them anyway.

Wednesday Ramblings

• 52 days until Christmas.
• we have one big problem, we have NO Christmas tree this year.
• Matt got the bright idea to throw ours away last year before we had a new one.
• yes, the lights on the bottom would randomly go out but it could be fixed & at least we still has a tree.
• I did find a really nice one at Hobby Lobby but it is $200, which I think is CRAZY for something we will use for a month, once a year.
• although once we buy it we will have it forever, right?!
• I have gotten a few Christmas presents, GO ME!
• I love shopping from home!
• looking forward to Thanksgiving and all the yummy food that comes with it.
• who is going Black Friday shopping this year?!
• I want to but not sure I can get the hubby to go again.
• maybe if I beg?! ;)
• Abby's birthday invitations are ready to be printed!
• next up is making her birthday banner.
• I still need to find a tutu to go with her birthday shirt.
• I am going to do her birthday pictures this week or next.
• Matt's 5K mud run is this weekend, watch for a blog and pictures!

Wednesday Ramblings

• 6 days until Halloween.
• the kids are super excited!
• I still need to get Abby some tights for her bubble bee costume.
• we have so much planned this weekend.
• Saturday - pumpkin patch then taking the kids for some early trick or treating with a friend.
• Sunday - Fall Festival at the mall then carving pumpkins.
• we did not getting fall pictures done because, even though I knew what colors I wanted us in, I could not find us all something that went together.
• black must be the new brown because I couldn't find anything in brown for the kids.
• Christmas pictures it will be!
• probably better that way, then I will have a picture to put on our Christmas card!
• started my Christmas shopping this week.
• well, more like my internet browsing for the stuff I want to buy, to get prices and make a list!
• I have a few things in mind for the kids but to be honest, I really don't want to buy them toys.
• if you saw their playroom you would totally understand why.
• Abby's invitations are done!
• planning to do her birthday pictures next week!
• so far I have made dinner at home three nights in a row!
• yes, that is a big deal for me, so stop laughing!
• so excited, my blog is #52, YAY!!!

• I'm starting to stress about Christmas shopping.
• I know, I know its only October but lets be honest it only a little over 2 months away.
• my list of stuff to do before Abby's party is steadily growing.
• invitations have to go out no later than Nov 11th and in my eyes that's pushing it.
• really thinking a day planner is in my future.
• so don't make plans with me until further notice.
• if we already have plans, remind me regularly.
• really loving the smell of fall going on in my house these days.

• there is so much on my mind.
• lets stick with the fun stuff.
• I am in a crazy decorating mood.
• hence, the new blog look!
• not just decorating though, I want to redo rooms.
• Logan needs a more "grown-up" boy room, so that is a must!
• I did get my shelf for above the fireplace...I LOVE IT!
• we went out and got some great fall things to decorate it with!
• I want to get more crafty and make more of my own Christmas decor.

• wow what a week.
• the yard sale was a bit of a bust.
• I did make $30!
• better than nothing, right?!
• after a bit of a hiccup with the delivery, Matt's TV got here Friday.
• it's like we have our own personal movie theater.
• I must say football looks REALLY good on it! ;)

• Graves Mountain in 10 days!
• I think the kids are going to LOVE it!
• keep a look out for pictures and blog about it.
• our fall pictures are all set up
• now I need to plan our outfits, YAY!
• having a love-hate relationship with couponing right now...can't really explain it.
• Danielle will be here in 83 days...WoOhOo!!!!! :)
• going to start planning out our dinners a week ahead.
• hoping this will make us eat at home more.
• I have a lot of great recipes, I just need to get back to making them!
• we have been going to bed before 10pm and I am still so tired in the morning.
• what is up with that?!
• off to the gym, maybe that will give me some energy!

• I put up with a POS phone for way to long.

• we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese last Friday to play games.
• ugh, that place just makes my nerves go all over the place, haha!
• we have finally reached fall,! 
• Next stop my second favorite season.
• WINTER! 
• why, you ask...CHRISTMAS!
• I absolutly love the holiday season.
• no, not just for the shopping I get to do!
• getting back in the gym this week.
• made it there yesterday and gave it my all.
• not sure it was much but hey I got there.
• the yard sale is coming up this weekend.
• I am so excited for it.
• hoping for a great turn out.
• anything left is NOT, I repeat NOT coming back in this house.
• off to goodwill it will go.
• oh the football game...
• I don't have much to say other than I still love my Skins!
• 1.5 hours at the dinner table = great conversation with my hubby!

• we had an awesome weekend.
• Logan had a great week at school.
• we took him for a special dinner at Friendly's.

• we got 2 tickets to the Redskins game on Sunday.
• it was a WONDERFUL day with my hubby.
• it was a great game, but we wished we would have stayed till the end.
• next time I will NOT leave early!

• girls night Saturday at Olive Garden!
• was very over do.
• this week is Premier week for almost all of our shows.
• I can't wait for DirecTv to come tomorrow to hook up the HD stuff.
• Matt wants a new 55" t.v. 
• we would have to sit in the kitchen to watch it.
• men and their televisions.
• I am ready for the leaves to start changing.
• time to start planning fall pictures.
• of course then I have to plan our outfit.
• which drives me CRAZY!
• it's all worth it in the end, though.

• Abby started gymnastics again and dance for the first time.
• she really liked dance class and loves showing everyone what she learned.
• no surprise there, right?! ;)
• the instructor was impressed with how well she did.
• our little ballerina/gymnast ... LOVE IT!

• Friday is DC CUPCAKE day...YUM-O!
• YES, they are worth the drive people!
• trying to get back in the gym more.
• "motivation where are you?!"
• how about them REDSKINS...HTTR!

• we are finally getting an HD DVR receiver for our HD T.V.
• oh and did I mention it is free.
• I have one very happy husband!
• working on forms so Matt can start school next fall.
• ugh, what a pain they are.
• very excited about girls night Saturday with Crystal, Jess, and Valerie.
• so tired of the million and a half post on Facebook by some people.
• just because it said re-post this, doesn't mean you have to do all of them.
• it's like the junk emails you get.

Each week I will give you a quick rambling of what's going on in our crazy, hectic, yet oh so wonderful life! Plus, a side of my unfiltered thoughts for the day!

• we had an AMAZING three day weekend!
• family time is always the best!
• got in a workout plus, went to the pool at the gym.
• Logan now loves going down the slide at the pool there.
• brave little guy?! I think so!
• Abby is signed back up for gymnastics and dance...
• and if you know her, you know she loves to dance.
• Matt and I got at night out without the kids Saturday which was nice and much needed!
• the kids enjoyed the evening with their cousin Katie

• I am so ready for the regular season of football to start. 
• yes, I am probably one of the only wives looking forward to it!
• LET'S GO SKINS!!!!!!
• I really believe some people need a reality check...
• even though I don't think it would make a bit of a difference.
• is it fall yet?!?!
• I am so over shorts and have moved to wearing jeans 100% of the time...
• maybe it will make fall come faster!
• I can't wait to go to Graves Mountain Apple Festival in October to pick Apples!
• I know what the kids are going to be for halloween.
• I WILL get their pictures taken this year in their costumes! 

No, this is not their costume! Lol ;)
