Lucas Parker 5 month update!

 Compare 4 months here!

Oh boy am I a little late with this post. Lucas is now 5 month and 1 week old. Things were so busy over the holiday. He is in size 3 diapers now and will be moving to 9m clothes soon. I don't have a weight update from the 4 month post but I know he has gained. I feel like he grows so much each day and it kinda make me sad. He is such a sweet boy. I can't get enough of his chunky cheeks, rollie pollie legs and his little laugh. He is grabbing at things and always has his hands in his mouth which I believe is because he is teething but no teeth yet. He is a major drool factory these days too. I purchased a baltic amber necklace to try and I think it has help cut back on the drooling. He still loves jumping in his jumper. Here is a video of him going to town while watching TV!

He is eating solids like a champ. I am making his food and let me tell you, it is so easy. He has had butternut squash, sweet potatoes, carrots and bananas. We tried peas but he was not a fan. We is drinking 5-6oz of breast milk 5-6 times a day and sleeps for about 10-12 hrs at night. He goes down around 9 or 10pm but becomes restless starting around 3-4am until 6am then usually falls back to sleep until 8 or 9am. We just have to give him his binky back during that time. He takes one good long nap in the morning and a few little cat naps after that. I have been feeding him on demand but am trying to get a schedule started now that he is on solids.

I am down to only pumping twice a day and let me tell you it is so wonderful! I pump at 8-9am and not again until 8-9pm. I am a little nervous my supply is going to tank but right now I am still getting 35-40 ounce per day. Since he is eating 28-30oz a day I am not able to freeze as much as before. I believe last time I added it up I had just over 3000 oz in my freezers so I am not stressed about it. My goal has always been to pump until 6 months and I am 3 1/2 weeks away! YAY! Anything after that is a bonus.

I am not sure how we got 3 of the cutest little people but we sure are lucky! I love watching him interact with his brother and sister. They both adore him and it just melts my heart seeing them three together!

Pregnancy Update ~ 34 weeks!

I know I am a day late with this but it has been a busy weekend. Here you go...

5 weeks...32 days...779 hours until LUCAS PARKER arrives! Yes, I totally have it down to the hours. If he decides to come sooner, I will be fine with that too! Not sure if you can tell by this picture but he has dropped some. He is most active around 11pm so we will see if that carries through after he is born. The poor guy gets the hiccups so much. Sometimes 3-4 times a day. It has gotten to the point that they shake my whole belly when he has them. If hiccups really mean you are growing, this little boy is growing a lot lately. We are pretty much ready for him to come at anytime. Clothes are washed and his bag is packed for the hospital. I will probably get mine packed in the next week or two and get his car seat in the car. I am totally bummed because I wanted to sign Logan and Abby up for the sibling class at the hospital but I waited too long and all the August classes are full. I know its not a big deal but thought they would enjoy it. They are both getting so excited! They ask at least every other day "how many more weeks until Lucas is here". They will be the best big brother and big sister Lucas could ask for!

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, but one of them at the top of my belly has stretched a little more. I also have noticed a faint Linea Nigra line below my belly button.

Movement: Still VERY active and I am savoring every moment of it!

Size of Baby: He measures about 18.7 inches long (size of a butternut squash) and weighs in around 5.8 pounds.

Belly Button in or out? In but flat.

Cravings: Anything sweet! Hope that goes away after he is born because I have to lose this weight.

Sleep: Umm, what is that! haha I truly believe it's our body's way of preparing us for the sleepless nights to come. Rolling over is a very hard task and from what Matt says I groan a lot when I do roll over.

Sex of Baby: A sweet baby BOY...Lucas Parker!

Best Moment this week: Buying his new crib. We had one that we brought used but neither of us were really ever happy with it. So last Sunday I re-sold the used one and then found one we LOVE! Pictures of the nursery are coming I promise. Just waiting for one last project to be finished and hung.

Weight Gain: Again...We will not talk about this! ;)

Symptoms: I feel like an 80 year old woman when I walk. My pelvic bone feels like it might break in two and my hips are killing me. By the end of the day my calves and ankles are super swollen. It feels like I have shin splints from the skin around my calves being so tight. Then add in the heartburn and boy I am a mess! I know it will all be worth it in the end but right now it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

What you are looking forward to: Meeting our sweet boy!

Pregnancy Update ~ 32 weeks!

7 more weeks or 1 month and 18 days or 49 days! Let's just say it is coming up fast. Keeping the kids busy this summer is helping it fly by for me. We got Lucas' dresser on Thursday and Matt put it together last night while I was out for a girls night, so now that I have a place to put his clothes after I wash them. I am still researching what detergent I want to use for the cloth diapers so those will be getting washed soon too!

Also, on the 21st of June Matt went in for his Vasectomy. It went really well and he is doing great now. Since it is not 100% effective for about three months we didn't want to wait till after Lucas was here. When I really think about it, it makes me sad because I know that chapter (having kids) of our life will be over once Lucas is here but I have been given (almost) three wonderful gifts and for that I am truly thankful. Plus, like I have said before and many of you know, pregnancy and my body don't go well together!

How Far Along: 32 weeks

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, no new ones.

Movement: Still VERY active and I am savoring every moment of it!

Size of Baby: He measures about 17 inches long (size of a sqaush) and weighs in around 4 pounds. He is in the head down position and getting more and more cramped by the day!

Belly Button in or out? In but flat.

Cravings: COOKIES! I made cookie dough the other day (missed that post check it out here) and it was good but it seems cooked cookie are what I am craving. Kebbler Fudge Shoppe and Chick Fil A's new chocolate chunk are my favorites!

Sleep: Getting rough again but is not to bad since it is summer break and I don't have to get up early. My heartburn and pelvic is what keeps me up.

Sex of Baby: A sweet baby BOY...Lucas Parker!

Best Moment this week: Getting my c section officially scheduled for August 24th at 7:30am...7 more weeks!!

Weight Gain: We will not talk about this! ;)

Symptoms: Back pain, pelvic pain, and awful heartburn. I am taking a Zantac twice a day but having to take 2 Tums about an hour or so before I am due for the Zantac. This little boy better have hair when he comes out! haha

What you are looking forward to: At this point I am just looking forward to meeting our sweet boy!!

Pregnacy Update - 16 weeks!

How far along? 16 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 12 pounds gained <---- UGH!!!!

Stretch marks? just the ones from Logan, no new ones!

Sleep: when I take a Unisom I sleep OK but without it, I am awake all night.

Best moment this month: Finding out our Bean is a BOY!!!!

Movement: Feeling twitches here and there but nothing real strong yet! Can't wait till I start feeling him everyday!

Food cravings: Chocolate Chip granola bars but they HAVE to be Sunbelt brand!

Gender: BOY...Lucas Parker Wuethrich!!

Labor Signs: None!

Belly Button in or out? In!

What I miss: My regular clothes but I have gotten some cute maternity stuff!

What I am looking forward to: Feeling Lucas' movements...I hear them all the time on the doppler but can't wait to feel him everyday!

Weekly Wisdom: Baby is the size of a Avacodo this week, he's about 4.6 inches long and weighs about 3.5 ounces. He's listening to my voice, thanks to tiny bones forming in his ears. He's growing hair, lashes and eyebrows and forming taste buds.

Milestones: 4 months down!!

P.S I decided that when I hit 20 weeks I am going to start doing this post every other week then at 30 weeks I will do them weekly! :))

and the GENDER is ....

My poll reveal 80% thought GIRL and 20% thought BOY but .....

 Lucas Parker Wuethrich
I know I told you all that my appt was on the 17th, and it was, but being that I am super impatient, I went today...I am 14 weeks 4 days! Lucas was NOT shy at all about letting us know he was in fact a "HE"!

Logan and Abby are very excited to have a little brother! They like that they can call him by name now! I think I am still in shock a little because I was just so sure it was a girl but I should have listened to Matt all this time because he has always said it was a boy! We are both THRILLED to be having another little boy. I can officially start shopping for clothes which has been so hard not to do. We don't have to paint the nursery now because it is blue from when it was Logan's room. That's a major plus! I am going to look around online for bedding because I really don't want to buy one of those bedding sets. You don't end up using the bumper or the quilt/comforter. I am thinking something simple that I can just piece together! I do know it will be BLUE!

More picture when we have our 20 week ultrasound on April 16th! :)

Gender Poll

With a week and half left until my appt I decided now is a good time to start getting everyone's input! Please vote on the poll below!

Have a wonderful day!

Baby Appt Update!

I had my 14 week check up today. Bean and I are doing great. All my blood work from last visit came back normal and they listened to the HB. I thought it was funny because the midwife was trying to get Abby to pay attention to the HB but Abby was not very interested since we listen to it at home all the time! I found out that the tightening I feel every once in a while at night, IS Braxton Hicks contractions. It's crazy they can happen this soon but glad to know that was all it is. As long as they are not consistent and I have no bleeding she said not to worry about it! I guess it's just another "perk" of a third pregnancy!

We scheduled my 20 week anatomy ultrasound for April 16th! We are still doing the one on March 17th that we will pay for. I can't wait 6 more weeks to know what we are having because like I said before, I am too impatient! We also discussed when and who would do my c-section this time unless like she said this baby decided to come earlier or just "fall out" on their own! Not likely, but one can wish, right! ;) It will either be done Friday August 24 or Monday August 27. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the 24th! The hospital policy is VERY firm on only a week early unless there are issues so I am just keeping my fingers crossed the doctors office can get me in there on Friday with no issues. More on that though around 7-8 months!

Well, that is it for now! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

First Baby Purchase!

Now that I am 14 weeks I decided it was safe to buy the first baby item! It's a little confusing because some pregnancy calculators say 12 weeks is the start of the 2nd trimester, some say 13 weeks and some say 14 weeks! So I feel like I can safely say I am in my 2nd trimester!

When we were at Kohl's tonight the cutest gender neutral sleeper jumped out at me. I HAD to have it and it will be the first thing I put our sweet little bean into at the hospital!

Life Happenings!

I am totally slacking in the "Blog World"! I am still suffering with my morning sickness and I think the last three days, I had a stomach bug. I am in my 13th week and every morning I hope is a m/s free day, but no such luck yet! I have an appt coming up on March 5th and I am going to talk to the doctor about it. Although, I know there is really nothing they can do to make it go away completely.

We scheduled a sonogram for the 17th of March with Sneek A Peek, because yes I am too impatient to wait until my 20 week, doctor ordered, ultrasound to find out what we are having! The best thing is, I will be 16 weeks at this one and 4 weeks later, I will get to see our Bean again at the 20 weeks ultrasound the doctor orders.

Next Tuesday, Logan has a music concert and I can't wait. They all have to wear jeans and a white shirt. I will definitely be posting about that afterwards! He is getting so big, I can't stand it!

Oh and I got a Blog award! It is called the "Sunshine Award" from Tabby over at Shipwrecked on Fabulous Island!
I am suppose to do something after I receive the award but to be honest I just have not had the energy to figure out what that is exactly! I will at some point, promise! Anyways, that just a little update of what has been going on around here! I will try to get better at posting more!

Crazy Cravings!

I have been pregnant for 10 weeks and 6 days, and I haven't had any crazy cravings. Well, that was until yesterday! We went to Vinny's for dinner and I got a pickle with my meal and oh boy was it delish! I had to run an errand after dinner so Matt headed home (he was in his work truck). One my way home after my errand, I got a text from him with this picture...

Yep, Slim Jim's and pickles. That is what is hitting the spot right now. I say it is what Bean is craving. I couldn't wait to get home, haha! I am also living off Jolly Ranchers these days. For some reason the tartness help with the morning sickness!

It's crazy and you might want to sit down for this part if you are not already, but the one thing that I have NO desire to eat anymore is....CHIPOTLE! I know, I know, it is crazy! I was a Chipotle addict (if there was such a thing). I am not sure why but it has been about a month since I last ate it and that is a big deal for me. I use to eat it once a week and sometime more. I keep saying I am just going to get it and I am sure it will be fine but I can't even bring myself to go there. That is the only thing at this point that I use to eat that I can't now.

My morning sickness is getting better but it is definitely still there. I can't wait till I am back to my normal self and can start cooking dinner again because eating out every night for dinner is taking a toll on the checkbook, haha!

quick Bean update with PICTURE!

I had my first official OB check today which included, but not limited to, the not so fun stuff like giving them 6 vials of blood and a urine sample. She said she was going to do an ultrasound because it was probably still to early to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler. I told her I was able to hear it at home with mine and she said "Oh so you don't want to see the baby?!" haha Well, of course I said YES I do!!! Now, you have to understand that their machine is not the greatest so the picture is no where near as good as the one from my 8 week ultrasound but hey, we got to see Bean and the little flickering heartbeat so I am not going to complain. Everything was perfect!! <3

Here is the picture they printed for us. Like I said not the greatest but you can definitely see Bean! :)

A little bit of normalcy!

As many of you already know morning sickness, which is really all day sickness for me, has me down lately. Yes, it is all for an amazing cause! Today was a good day. Only had to take a Zofran after dinner tonight because what I ate just had to much flavor! Yep, you read that right...I need bland bland bland! Anyways, back to my good day! Abby and I went grocery shopping but first had one of our lunch dates, that I have missed so much! She is the best dining out partner ever. She never runs out of things to talk about or questions to ask. Sometime so much I have to remind her to keep eating! haha I am hopeful tomorrow will be another good day and evening with dinner at Bone Fish for my fabulous SIL's birthday!

This picture is from today and I just LOVE it!

Love at first sight!

I had my ultrasound this morning! I was nervous because I was not sure how much we would get to see but boy was I shocked! It was the most amazing thing, seeing the little flicker on that screen. It makes having morning sickness not so bad. I have officially fallen in love for the third time and the next 7 months can not go fast enough!

party of FIVE

Yep, we are PREGNANT with number 3! For the last 5 years since having Abby people have asked over and over are you done having kids?! For a long time my answer was yes. I mean, we have a boy and a girl, what more could we ask for, but I knew there was a big part of me that wanted another one and I knew Matt would LOVE to have another one but I was still apprehensive about it. I started having HORRIBLE migraine in 2009 and I was on some medication that I couldn't take while pregnant, so that was a big factor in my decision. After talking about it for a few month we decided we really wanted one more so in March I had my IUD removed after 4 years. We started trying right away but NEVER did I think it would take so long. It was the hardest 9 months because with Logan and Abby we got pregnant on the first try and this was something we had never had to deal with but in the end, patience was all that was needed. On December 19th before heading out to dinner I took a test and there it was, the TWO pink lines we had been waiting so many months for! It was perfect timing because Saturday was Christmas Eve and Christmas with my family, so that's when we told everyone. I typed up a poem and gave it to my parents before everyone got to their house. Of, course it didn't take my mom anytime at all to figure it out. We told everyone else once everyone got there. I am due September 1st, 2012, but like with Logan and Abby I will have another c-section! As much as I wish I could have a VBAC, I know it's not possible. I just want a healthy little bean! We have names picked out but we will announce those once we know what we are having! I started with morning sickness (well, all day sickness really) when I was 5wks 5days. I am now 7wks 5days and it is still just as bad. I am hoping that in 5-6 weeks it will let up like it did with Logan and Abby. I am doing everything I can think of or have read about to ease my morning sickness. I am taking Zofran, Unisom/B6 and wearing Sea Bands. It's definitely better then it was when I was not taking anything, so that's a plus. It will all be worth it when I get to hold our precious little bean in my arms!

The kids are super excited. We told them the night before we told our families. I can't wait until I am far enough along that they will be able to feel the baby move. I purchased a Doppler so the kids can hear the heartbeat since they will not be at my appointments. Can't wait to be able to use it! I am also planning on doing a 3D-4D ultrasound around 17 weeks (which will be right around my birthday). That way they can come to that instead of the doctor ordered 20 week ultrasound. The setting at the private ultrasound places are warmer and cozier then the doctors office ones.

I have an appt tomorrow for a ultrasound so I will blog about that tomorrow when I get home! :)

Look for many more blog post about our exciting journey to becoming a party of FIVE!

Our first positive test!!!! 12/19/11
