Sunday Social ~ Inside my BLOG!

 Time for Sunday Social! I am doing last weeks questions because I missed it and I like them a lot, haha!

so here we go...

1.  How did you come up with your blog name? 

My blog name was an easy one because it totally explains my life. I am a momma first and foremost so that means everything revolves around those 3 little people. They make me who I am and who I always wanted to be...a MOTHER!

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging? 
There are so many answers to this. I love that it is MY place to say what is really on my mind. I love having a place to brag on my little people and how awesome they are. On the flip side I love that I can come on here and be real about the ups and downs along the way. I mean parenting is not easy especially when you are a SAHM who is with your kids 24/7, 7 days a week. It is my mommy time when I get on here!

3. What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now can't live without? 
 The blogger friends I have made along the way for sure. I feel like even though we have never met we can chat like we have known each other forever.

4. Facebook or Twitter? and why? 
 Facebook for SURE! Even more now that I can use hashtags, haha! I feel like I miss so much on Twitter because the feed goes so FAST. I have to scroll for what feels like hours to get caught up on things. Am I alone with this feeling!?

5. If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be? 
Ellen DeGeneres...meeting her is number one on my bucket list! Just being in her audience will not do, I have to meet her face to face! One day, one day!

6. What is something you want people to know about your blog?
That I appreciate every person that takes the time to read it! You all ROCK!

Sunday Social ~ It's all about the number 4

Hope everyone is have a great weekend. Time for Sunday Social...it's all about 4's! Here we go...

1. 4 favorite things to do on a weekend... sleep in, RELAX, eat out and catch up on DVRed shows.

2. 4 favorite things about your best friend(for me that is my hubby)... he's handsome, he always makes me laugh, he is a human heater, and never tries to throw bugs on me (I am the youngest of 6, remember, haha). I could go on for days but this is about 4's so I will stop there!

3. 4 things you would do with $100,000... paid off bills, buy new bedroom furniture, get a mommy makeover, and go on a Disney cruise.

4. 4 favorite books you've ever read... Twilight Series (Eclipse was my favorite), Dear John, Safe Haven, The Lucky One. I love Nicholas Sparks books!

5. 4 favorite snack foods... peanut M&M's, salt and vinegar chips, chocolate chip cookies (the dough really), and beef jerky. I haven't had any of those in a while... *sad face*

6. 4 things that you must do daily... brush my teeth (duh), open ALL the blinds (I like natural light), log my food on MyFitnessPal, and of course BLOG!

Sunday Social ~ Childhood

Well, it is Sunday again and time for Sunday Social. This weeks questions are all about childhood. Here we go...

1.  Did you sleepwalk as a child? Nope!

2.  Did you ever try to run away or sneak out of your house? Nope!

3.  Did you have any imaginary friends? Nope!

4.  Did you ever go toilet papering? Nope!

5.  Did you ever sneak TV shows you weren't allowed to watch? Nope!

Boy those were easy to answer. I never had the guts to do anything I knew I wasn't allowed too. I was pretty much a goody two shoes, haha! Ok so I maybe did somethings I wasn't allowed to, but since my parents (and someday maybe my kids) read this blog I will not say what they were! ;)

Sunday Social ~v2

 

1. What is your favorite type of workout to do? Haha, who has an actual favorite workout!? Oh, you do! Well go on with your bad self!

2. What is your favorite guilty pleasure candy or sweet? Reese Peanut Butter anything. I love the holiday ones...Eggs, Christmas trees, pumpkins ect. I love that they are way more peanut butter then chocolate. I was just telling Matt Friday that haven't had one since Christmas. At 170 calories I better stay away from them though!

Your mouth is watering now isn't it!?

3. What is one thing you continuously forget to do?  Oh that is easy, check the mail. I will go days without checking it unless I know I have something coming then I am on top of it. Matt has checked it before and it was packed full. Maybe I am subconsciously avoiding it because of the bills, ha!

4. Do you prefer post-its or phone reminders? Why? My phone hands down. I LOVE the calendar and notepad feature on my iPhone. I am not good at remembering to take a hand written grocery list with me when I leave the house so I just do it on my phone so it is always with me. My calendar has everything from doctors appts to blog stuff on it. I love that it syncs up with Matt's iPhone so he can see what is going on that day if need be.

5. What is your favorite picture currently on your phone that always makes you smile? Oh I have so many. I am always taking pictures of the kids but if I have to pick one it would be this one...

Sunday Social ~ v1...All about Spring!

Linking up for Sunday Social. It is all about Spring...now, if only it felt like it outside!
 

What is your favorite thing about Spring? I love having my windows open and seeing all the flowers blooming and trees starting to get leaves again. I also love having more daylight!

What is your favorite kind of flower to grow or receive? I have a black thumb remember so I will not being growing any flowers! As for receiving, it would have to be roses (my wedding flower) and second would just be a bouquet of random flowers.

What is your favorite nail polish color? I have so many favorites. I guess if I have to pick just one it would be any shade of pink. Essie colors are my favorite!

A favorite...Watermelon

What is your favorite outdoor activity? Umm, I am not an outdoors kinda gal, haha! If I am outside it is either watching Logan play baseball in the summer or mowing the grass (on a riding mower that is).

Do you have any fun Spring plans? Details! No big Spring plans. Logan and Abby are going to Disney with my parents in a week and I am going to use that time to do some Spring cleaning (does that count as Spring plans!?) and go through all their old toys, clean out a closet or two and organize some things here and there. What a mom's life I have, haha!

Sunday Social ~ Middle/High school memories!

What was your biggest middle school fashion mistake?
That would be my big, hoop earrings and Reebok classics. I was a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl and still am, so I can't say that was a mistake, haha!

Who were your best friends in high school?
I had a few really good friends, Rhema, Lisa, Wendy and Shannon but I lost touch with my best friend from middle school when I went to high school and I never made another best friend like her. We have reconnected now that we are married with kids, which is great!

What was a typical weekend like for you in high school?
Hanging out with my amazing boyfriend (see question below). We would do dinner and a movie or just hang out at my parents house. Big party animals I tell ya!

Did you have boyfriends/girlfriends? Tell us about that...
Sure did and he is now my HUSBAND!!! We met in 10th grade English and have been going strong for 14 years now!

Did you have any secret codes with your friends? Spill your secrets...
No secret codes, but we did have a notebook that we passed back and forth that we wrote to each other in. Now that I think about it, it was stupid because all our secrets were in one place for anyone to see if they got a hold of it. Silly teenagers!!

If you could relive one day/moment/experience from middle school or high school, what would it be?
Hands down that would be graduation from high school. I was not a fan of school and that was the best day. Being done with that place was AWESOME! haha ;)
