Cookie Dough for Preggies!

I don't normally do recipe post but I love to eat cookie dough and have not had it since getting pregnant so I had to share this recipe for you other pregnant mama's out there! Raw cookie dough is not good for you when pregnant (is it good for anytime, really?!) because of the raw eggs so I was on the hunt for a recipe that was eggless, and super simple to make. Someone in my September 2012 mom's group posted a link with this recipe and I was so excited to make it.

Here you go!

Eggless Cookie Dough
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup milk
1 cup flour
Pinch salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips

In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar and butter until smooth. Stir in vanilla and milk. Mix in the flour, salt, and chocolate chips until well blended. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour and enjoy!

If you like frozen cookie dough, you can shape the dough into balls and freeze on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. After a few hours, remove the dough and store it in the freezer in a ziploc bag.

Let me know if you have tried this one or have another recipe you like!
