FTSF ~ If I could live anywhere, I'd live...

Can I say right here and not sound cliche!? I don't mean in this house but in this area. This is home, where I grew up and familiar. I know the area like the back of my hand. We tried to move away and even though it was only 45 mins away it was still too far!

I do wish there was more to do around here but I still can't imagine moving away again. Matt jokes about moving to FL but he knows it will never happen. One because of what I already said and two because I like the seasons. There are only maybe 2 seasons in FL, hot and hotter! Haha I love visiting but that's it!

Now lets talk house...if I could live in any house I wanted it would be on a few acres (I have gotten use to not living in a neighborhood, ha), have some stone on the outside and nice a front porch! Like this one for example...

Another thing that is important to me in a home is the kitchen. I want a big island where the kids can sit and eat breakfast. I like to cook so a big island would be great for that too! Like this one for example...
Oh I could go on forever with pictures and ideas of what I want in my dream house but I will stop here and not bore you anymore!

Happy Friday everyone...hope your weekend is FABULOUS!

I'd say the SAME thing! I don't want to move--this is where I grew up and where my mom and sister live, and my hubby's parents aren't too far away either. I complain about the weather, but you're right--4 seasons. And I think your dream house is the same as my dream house. That porch! That kitchen! :)

I'm definitely with you on that kitchen! Love all the natural sunlight and that counter space to work on! Some day ... :)

being in the real estate business, I totally notice pictures and photos of houses and interiors and such and the thing I still get (aggravated/amused/puzzled by) is/are the interiors of homes as portrayed in TV commercials.
I always thought (incorrectly I must conclude) that the visual in commercials must be relatable by the target (of the commercial)...but I have yet to see a commercial with a kitchen that I think, 'yeah, like ours, maybe just a little fancier'....

...not!
hell, most kitchens on TV commercials are bigger than our kitchen...dining room and living room lol (and no, since I have given up roller skating in the house, I do not feel an need to upgrade.

fun Post!

Love the house pic! Fits my criteria because my NUMBER ONE house requirement is a side entry garage. There are too many houses with a giant garage on the front....the garage is the front door!
