OK, now time to confess..
My least favorite baby stage is the messy food stage. When they start feeding themselves and food gets everywhere. You know what I am talking about...it gets on their clothes, all over the highchair cover, and without a doubt in their hair, AHHHH! Foods like spaghetti will not be served unless mommy is feeding it to them. I just can't handle the awful mess it makes.
I gave Lucas an arrowroot Gerber cookie this morning and I was sitting there waiting with a wet paper towel in hand. It went OK but was messier then I like so those will have to wait until daddy is home, haha!

Trust me Krystle, at almost 4 years old and 2 1/2, my girls still make messes when eating. The worst was a few weeks ago when we went for Carvel Ice Cream and my younger daughter put her head down and got vanilla ice cream all in her bangs and the front of her hair. Totally gross and so messy!!
My husband hovers and starts wiping up everything and wiping the baby - making her cry so it is a nightmare ALL around! But they are so darn cute with all that food everywhere! I am feeling like a rockstar because Baby Keira has eaten everything I have made for her!
Lucas is so sweet!
I feel you!!! My littles are past the baby food phase but I try and avoid messy foods, like rice!, just because I hate the clean up!
