Shut the front door...

My baby got his first pair of shoes! How is this even possible!? We went with Stride Rite and I ended up having to order them online since our local Stride Rite close at some point and I didn't realize it. I went to Saxon shoes and had him measured but they didn't have his size in anything I liked. His left foot was a 3.5 and his right was a 4, both extra wide of course. I ordered a 4.5 extra wide but that leaves no room to put sock on his feet. I really think an extra extra wide will be needed this winter. Well that's if there is such a thing as extra extra wide!? haha I guess I better start doing some research because we all know kids feet grow at a record speed.

He let me put them on without much fuzz and only played with them for a minute or two then went on his way playing and what not. Of course, he is not walking yet but does cruise along the furniture and he didn't miss a beat with the shoes on!

Here is the overload of cuteness...

We are taking the kids to the Richmond Children's Museum tomorrow so keep an eye out for a photo dump from that this week! It is just to darn hot to go to Kings Dominion so this is the next best thing!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

awww his feet are adorable! my parents said i had the same problem as a child, i had really wide feet. believe me, the problem will starts to change when he begins to grow a little more. his feet will become equal sizes. i had this problem until i was about 12 years old, i hit my growth age. i realized that the wide-ness of my foot started to slow down. i was finally able to wear heels! lol. his feet will change over time, trust me!

good luck!
