A day in the life of...

this crazy mama!!!

There is so much going on but yet nothing going on. Does that even make sense!? I swear I feel as if we never do anything but yet are always so busy and wishing for more time in a day. Matt's work has cut back OT so he is home more but it doesn't seem like it because when he is home his doing school work. The weekends go so fast that they are gone before for I have a chance to be excited for them.

School is going great for Logan and Abby. They both love their teachers. Logan is doing great and has all A's and 1 B as of right now. He is doing better with staying on task but we are only a little over a month into school so I am not getting to excited yet. He is a VERY smart boy (hence the great grades) but just gets off task easy. Abby is well, Abby. She is always so eager to come home and do her homework and read for 15 mins. I can only hope that continues as she gets older and has more homework.
Lucas is just getting too big. He is walking but still has not figured out how to stand from sitting in the middle of the room. The little fits when you tell him no have started and honestly it is kinda cute. We are still waiting for the talking to start. He does babble more but no full words yet. He is doing much better with a cup w/ a straw. I love sitting on the floor and playing with him. His attention span for his age is amazing. He loves to stack blocks, cups, well really anything that will stack. Did I mention he LOVES TV!?
As for me I am just busy being a mommy and working my AdvoCare business. We didn't put the kids in any activities this Fall like we planned because we wanted to see how the school year was going to go. Logan had so much homework last year that when baseball started in the Spring it was a bit too much. I take Lucas to a local play place called Toddlin Time 1-2 times a week. Again, I feel so busy but yet I also feel like I don't really leave the house that much. It's so weird, haha!
Matt and I got some one on one time a few weeks ago when we went to the Redskins vs Lions game. We are sharing season tickets with my parents this year. It was so nice to spend time together but we really need to make a point to do it more often. That was only the second "date" we have had since Lucas was born.
It's definitely time to start making more us time! Once a month would be nice but finding a sitter always proves to be the biggest obstacle. I am sure it doesn't have anything to do with my pickiness with who watches them, haha! I will work on that...maybe!

Hope everyone has a fantastic week!
