Weekend Recap

After some crazy storm rolled in Friday night, our weekend plans came to a screeching halt. This "Derecho" storm, cause MAJOR power outages through out our area. We lost power at around 9:45pm and didn't get it back until 2am but we were the lucky ones. Matt works for the local electric coop and was called into work at 6am Saturday morning. The outages topped out at around 60,000 people. As of noon this morning there was still over 12,000 without power.

I woke up when Matt left for work Saturday morning and so did Abby so we laid back down after he left. Abby was asleep again in about 20 minutes and Brodie was snoozing right next to her!

When we got up later I decided we were just going to have a lazy Saturday and hang around the house because it was way to hot to be outside. So the kids ran around playing, and watching TV off and on.

On Sunday Matt went to work and the kids and I went to my sisters for a cookout for my nephews 16th birthday. After that, we did a little grocery shopping and picked up a Little Caesars $5 pizza for dinner and just waiting for Matt to get home from work. When he finally got home it was bedtime!
