WW: Chalkboard Wall

I FINALLY got my chalkboard wall! Matt was not seeing my vision but now that it's done I think he is starting to...I think! It is still a work in progress but I know what I want to do with it. I just have to make it happen.

Here are some pictures from start to finish.
Before paint...
As the paint was going on...
After 2 coats...
Finished after 3 coats...
Priming(and a little doodling, haha) the wall...
Completed!
I am not sure if the wall should still be that white after "priming" it but we are going with it! Like I said, it's still a work in progress but I will post pictures once it is completely decorated!

Happy Hump Day everyone!

Totally doing this when my son is old enough. This way he won't get in trouble for drawing on the walls like his mama did.

I did this on my daughter's closet doors. It was a huge hit. She is in college now, but her friends would always come over and write notes to her and draw pictures. Sorry to have moved from that house!

I have a wall that I've wanted to do too and I can't seem to get Travis on board!

Yours looks great! And your kiddos will have so much fun with it, and I'm sure you will too! I know I would!

I really like the different way you decided to fix up a door by making a chalkboard out of it. I can not wait to see what pictures go on it. But the black color looks nice.!
